Set up 2FA

2FA adds a second lock so a stolen wallet session alone cannot control the account. Use a trusted authenticator app, scan the QR code, and store recovery codes somewhere private.

Enable 2FA, scan the QR code with an authenticator app, and store recovery codes somewhere offline.

Do this in order

  1. Pick one recommended authenticator app, scan the QR code, and enter the current 6-digit code.
  2. Copy recovery codes to a private offline place before leaving the page.
  3. Do not store recovery codes in the same wallet app or browser profile.
Done when 2FA is enabled and recovery codes are stored somewhere private.
